"RETURN OF THE WHIRLWIND" is the Award-Winning documentary film covering the Ukrainian Shumka Dancers' historic 1990 performance tour to Ukraine at a time when Ukraine was on the brink of breaking free of Soviet domination and gaining independence.

This program was filmed in Ukraine and Moscow during Shumka's 1990 Tour and achieved some of the best viewer ship numbers when it was broadcast nationally on the CBC as a Canada Day Special in prime time.
